Look no further than the Dell Inspiron 620 if you're interested in a mainstream PC with strong computing features housed in a case that dares to stand out in a sea of desktop conformity.

The sub-$500 Dell Inspiron ... has just about all you need for basic computing, plus other added extras you rarely find at this price point. It's a perfect replacement for that five-year-old tower in your den that is just too slow these days.

Dell manages to pack in most of the features that one would want in a home/office desktop into the Inspiron 620s. While we would have liked to see a few more features in this desktop, such as USB 3.0, it is still a good choice for meeting your home/office computing needs.

Altogether, the Inspiron 620 is a capable desktop for web browsing and basic productivity. It’s not going to replace a game console or high-powered gaming PC, but it does boast some entry-level gaming ability thanks to its dedicated AMD graphics card and latest-generation Intel processor.
