Blank DVDs
My Inspiron doesn't recognize blank DVDs when they are placed in the drive. I know this because when I click on the drive in My Computer, it says 'Please Insert a blank disk' and it pops the drive open, even though I have a blank DVD in the drive. Anyone else experience this with the old Inspiron 1520, which is the one I own. Any help would be appreciated.

Battery Problems?
I've had this computer for about a year now and I've noticed that I am not getting notifications to change my battery? Has anyone else experienced problems with this computer's battery? Where is the best place to have this replaced/fixed?
