I haven't used this PC but I'm looking to get it for my niece but not if the trackpad is unusable. Notebookreview said it sucked but the user review on GDGT said it was good. I can't find any other thorough reviews on this laptop so I'd like to know for sure. Any other users having issues with the trackpad. If there was issues with the trackpad were they fixed with a driver update? I'm waiting until Win7 comes out to purchase a laptop but I don't think W7 would fix this...

for say they both ran windows 7 which one would be faster. would you buy this over an upscale netbook that cost the same price?

Which processor is better? the Atom is 1.6ghz and the 723 is 1.2ghz BUT the 723 has a larger cache and faster FSB. On dells site it claims the 723 is 40% more productive. So is dell to be trusted on this one or is it fluff?
