- Picture quality Solid image quality, zero complaints. Calibration on Mac is still a bit of a pain, but Dell makes sure these meet strict factory calibration requirements.
- Design and form factor Minimal design that's out of the way. Button placement is a little annoying if you keep a laptop elevated and to the right.
- Inputs Short of unreasonable requests (like two or three DisplayPort inputs) this thing has everything you're ever likely to need.
Detailed review
I have nothing but positive things to say about the monitor for the standard criteria (picture quality, design, inputs, etc.), but due to severe stability issues I just can't recommend it.
The G2410 is our standard issue monitor at gdgt HQ, and we have had nothing but problems with them (specifically when used with Macs), including hard crashes (where the monitor needs to be fully unplugged), loss of signal for no apparent reason, and random restarts.
Dell has been highly unsupportive of these issues. I strongly suggest waiting for models with improved stability, especially if you're a Mac user.
