I was looking for a device to handle my wired items (Dish Receiver, XBox 360) and wireless items (Macbook, Wii, and guests). All this needed to be online with a cable modem.

Pretty simple. I like to limit clutter and effort. I didn't like the price of Apple's Airport Extreme though it would have been my first choice. Previous Airport experiences have demonstrated that it is the easiest device to set up and keep secure.

There were some bumps setting up this network but after a few attempts things got going pretty well. Remember to upgrade the firmware once in a while and this thing requires little else thought.

Had mine about a year and don't have any need or desire to look into anything else. That's about the best review you can get from a guy who is always looking for something better.
