With the latest firmware update, the D-Link DIR-655 is arguably one of the best among single-band Wireless-N routers on the market.

D-Link has added a number of valuable features via firmware updates, such as USB drive and printer sharing, and a special Wi-Fi guest zone. Factor in a low price tag plus comprehensive routing and firewall features, and it's no wonder the DIR-655 is one of our top picks.

Although the D-Link DIR-655 Wireless N Gigabit Router may not be the best looking router, it certainly offers great value for money. It is also easy to set up and manage, making a great all-round package for first-time users in particular.

I bought this router because it was recommended by many reviews. The speed and ease of use were outstanding. The only issue I had was with the durability over time. Everything was fine for about a year and then daily lock up started and got tired of constant reboots.

I have been using this router for over a year with no problems i have never need to reset it for an issue with the DNS or actually anything to do with the router itself. If you are the kind of person who wants to get their hand dirty and play with advance settings you can or just breeze across...

Looks good. Clean, simple. The range and reliability have been problems for me. I've had great experiences with Dlink so I hate to say there may be better boxes out there.

I've only had this router for 4-5 months and I've been having lots of issues with internet disconnects. I've just turned off the QOS options because I've read that this can cause the disconnect issues. I'll try a few more things to improve stability but from what I'm reading, I'm not alone. I'm...
