Thanks to a dual-channel setup, the Crucial Gizmo is rated at 160X speed, which equals 25 MB/s read performance. Like many other drives, it also comes with security software that allows you to password-protect a special storage area on the memory stick.

What could be improved? Mac support and perhaps a case to make it a bit larger, strange though it sounds, we've already lost this twice around the office in the week we've had it on test.

We really enjoyed this flash drive and there is little to dislike about it. It handles file transfers with speed and efficiency and has the added benefit of securing sensitive and confidential information. Its small size makes it easy to tote from PC to PC and even from home to work.
