All in all Creative has done much to improve the T20s. As a result the T20 Series II still has the flaws and is disappointing for high-end gear. A real shame, because they have great potential.

If you can live with the overly-bright LED, you get a set of speakers with quality sound and a quality look, that feel as though they will last a lifetime.

Strings, acoustic guitars, heavy bass and vocal tones all sound spot-on, and while the T20’s would struggle to fill a decent-sized room, the system is ideal for belting out tunes in a small office or bedroom.

The Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II is expensive, but looks great and produces a pleasing sonic racket. We wholeheartedly recommend the T20s to those seeking a set of stereo speakers that do their digital music collection justice.

Though one does need to push them high to get the best, the Creative GigaWorks T20s are still a superb set of 2-channel speakers that represent stunningly good value. If you want smart dekstop looks, great sound and minimal installation fuss, the T20s should be just about perfect.

Coupled with a logical and convenient layout of controls and inputs/outputs, the sonic quality and presentation value of the GigaWorks T20s makes them a top flight product in this category.

They're a fantastic choice if you watch DVDs on your iMac and need a pair of compact speakers that'll provide decent sound.

If you're looking for a sleek new set of speakers to go with your rig, then the Gigaworks T20 2.0 speakers should definitely be at the top of your list, especially if cost is an issue.
