I don't buy gadgets when they are released - I wait a while and read reviews + user forums. I bought the S9 when the kinks appeared to be worked out and I couldn't be happier.

I wanted something small for the train that could play my downloaded DivX/xVid files without conversion. The S9 has played every video file I've ever thrown at it - and the AMOLED screen is incredible. I loaded 2001 onto the S9 just to marvel at the deep blacks and vibrant whites.

The UI isn't the most intuitive thing in the world - I think it could definitely be simplified - but ultimately I am just nit-picking since I bought this thing to watch video and it is stellar in that regard.
