It wasn't a huge issue because we returned it and casio sent it back repaired pretty quickly, but it is a little worrying.... maybe we were just doing something wrong, but I doubt it
but this TRYX will take my Blogging videos to the next level with the various angeles the camera will turn! I can't wait for this to come out. Good Job Casio!
It's not too shabby either. Check out this video that's been making the rounds, looking at a passing passenger platform as a train rolls past a station. It's pretty wild stuff! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1xSa7gcYmU Adding this to my want list (as if I need any more cameras)!
http://www.steves-digicams.com/camera-reviews/casi... Bottom Line The Casio Exilim EX-FH100 is a powerful, full-featured compact digicam. With a 10-Megapixel imaging sensor, 10x optical zoom lens and high speed shooting modes that allow 40fps still image capture and up to 1000fps video capture. Its only drawback is the amount of imager noise seen in photos. Pick This Up If... You are looking for a compact digicam with a large zoom and incredible High...
I can honestly say I have tested this camera in extreme conditions. The camera was submerged in sand, salt water, fresh water, and a rain storm. It went from wet to dry and hot to cold multiple times and was even dropped around 10 feet onto the board walk. The camera handled beautifully. Pictures were great as well as video- although hd video would have been nice. Buttons do not feel gritty from sand nor does the camera casing show any signs of wear from its rough weekend. If you're looking...

http://www.dkamera.de/testbericht/casio-exilim-ex-... I used Google translate to read it. I also found a helpful Spanish article that compares the FH100 with the Canon SX210 IS, the Panasonic TZ10 and Sony HX5V at: http://www.quesabesde.com/noticias/Canon-SX210-IS-...
I got this camera for Christmas 09 and in the few days since getting it I have to say that I love it so far. The look and feel are perfect for what I was looking for, however It may be lacking a little in the picture quality category, which is the most important for a camera. I've been playing with the settings a little and have since noticed that my shots are getting better and are acceptable at this point. To be honest after looking through the first set of images that I took with it I had...

I learned of a nice trick in the This Week in Photography podcast, where if you use the 300 fps speed in the HS movie mode, then as you film you move or pan the camera 10 times as fast as "normal" (e.g. using a moving car). When you then play it back at 30 fps it gives the cool effect of everything seemingly to move ten times slower than it should, but since the camera appears to move "correctly" it is less obvious that you are looking at a high speed movie than if the camera...
Replacement Battery Experiences?I recently had the battery die completely on my EX-S600. None of the tricks suggested on various online forums could get it to take a charge. While the prices of digital cameras have come down so much that I almost talked myself into replacing it, I decided to try a replacement battery first. I found several options around the net, some of which seemed more sketchy than others. I went with a "NP20 Replacement" directly from Amazon (unnamed brand) with...

I am going back to college and I was wondering if there are enough new features to warrant upgrading my graphing calculator. Also I really hate the TFT Matrix display of the FX2.0.
