Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is an extremely solid, usable, fast and secure desktop Linux OS. It continues to hone the Unity user interface introduced in earlier releases, and also migrates to a new version of the kernel.
Read the full review →Ubuntu 12.04 worked straight away without installing any drivers. It was even using the Bluetooth that windows has never been able to use or find a driver for. The user interface is interesting to start with but then after using it for awhile it is very easy to use.

Precise Pangolin provides many more features in Unity, a stable experience, and a complete computing experience for free. There is no reason you should not create at least an Ubuntu virtual machine to play around with. Go get it....
