- Image quality Noticeable grain and noise indoors, but takes good pictures outdoors. Flash is good.
- Video quality Excellent 720p video! It looks fantastic.
- Battery life Only rated for 200 shots, and from experience, that's about right.
- Design and form factor Small, light, and compact! Unfortunately, that means lots of tiny buttons that can be hard to push if you don't have small hands like me.
- Durability I've had it for 2 years, and some of the paint on the buttons is coming off from wear.
- Speed (start-up time, lag) Ready to take pictures in about 2 seconds!
- Ease of use Easy menu system found in all of Canon's cameras, with many presets.
Detailed review
It's a great camera! I got it on Black Friday 2009 for a good price, which balances out some of the qualms I have with it. Now that I've been toying with this camera, I'd like to upgrade to a pro point-and-shoot, like the S100 or similar, just to get more control.
It also has CHDK support, so you can add more features to the camera, like RAW support, or zoom while recording video.
