First off, this camera is tiny! When comparing it with other cameras in the store, it was obvious how small it was, which is awesome for portability. The build quality is great. So the overall look is excellent. I'm a regular consumer so for my needs, this device is exactly what I was looking... Read the full review →

I primarily bought this because my previous camera, a Nikon, broke after only a year and I had been happy with the Canon Powershot S40 I had had. The Nikon taught me to never ever get a camera without a viewfinder as it is absolutely hopeless trying to use an LCD in bright light conditions. The... Read the full review →

The first thing you'll notice when you get the camera is how beautiful it looks. I got the deep red but the black or silver both look very nice. Its very sleek and small and feels great in the hand. The look is great but the overall design would be except for some the small, flat buttons might... Read the full review →

Had a Powershot 450SD and this is obviously many generations after. The slim form factor yet easy to access feature button set though relocated and updated seem to be unchanged in their ease of use. The black finish is sweet but the hotness that really roped me in... after of course the ability to... Read the full review →

Well whats going on with me, two posts in two days, I may have to lie down. Anyway, I have posted my first shots and video tests from my little Canon Digital IXUS 100is (powershot 780is for those who live in freedom land). This was the camera that I got as a 'downgrade' from my LX3. It was... Read the full review →

I'm not all that knowledgeable about cameras but from my use traveling & working in Asia with this camera went quite well. I didn't take a ton of video but it came out well when I played with it; the menus are easy and you can do the normal amount of shot customization and maybe then some.... Read the full review →

I got this as a pocket-able everyday camera and it hasn't disappointed. It has survived short falls and even a quick fall in a cup of water ( thanks mom). The picture quality is good for such a small form factor and my girlfriend uses it more than her rebel xti. There is a lag between photos and at... Read the full review →

I bought this camera primarily because of the price, but mostly because of how well it performed as a point-and-shoot camera. I've found that with unpleasant light condition, and a significant amount of motion, the camera still manages to produce high quality photographs. Although the video function... I bought this camera looking for a decent point and shoot that had HD video quality. The video quality is about what I would expect from a point and shoot HD camera. It is probably on par with a FlipHD camera. It was really disappointing in the picture quality department though. The pictures come... Read the full review →

It's a great camera! I got it on Black Friday 2009 for a good price, which balances out some of the qualms I have with it. Now that I've been toying with this camera, I'd like to upgrade to a pro point-and-shoot, like the S100 or similar, just to get more control.
It also has CHDK support, so you can... Read the full review →
