Just rooted my old IXUS 70 using the ROM from http://chdk.wikia.com - now my camera shoots RAW, and lets me zoom while shooting video! Awesome new features. Install is not for the feinthearted though, and may void the warranty. But hey, it's out of warranty anyway, right? Big ups to the CHDK guys.

I was wondering what gdgt is going to/could do about different regional names for gadgets. I have this camera in the UK where it is called the digital IXUS 70, but is the same model just with a different fascia? Any ideas people?
