Despite a few issues, the PowerShot S95 is one of the best compact cameras on the market, as was its predecessor. Combine the better-than-average photo quality with a fast lens, beautiful LCD, boatload of auto and manual controls, and HD movie recording, and you've got yourself a camera that's easy...

Though we'd like it to perform better, dSLR shooters looking for a sidekick camera will find the Canon PowerShot S95's top-flight photos and a full manual feature set worth the tradeoff of its compact size.
Read the full review →Overall, the Canon PowerShot S95 has placed itself at the top of my shortlist for my next pocket camera. I'm still torn between the S95 and the Panasonic LX5, with its wider-angle lens, but the S95 has more of what you want a pocket camera for, in a size that's not so tough to pocket.
Read the full review →The Canon S95 is a great little camera that enthusiasts will love. It's small, fits in the pocket and is classily designed as well as shooting good quality images. DSLR users looking for an everyday camera to shoot with the on the fly will appreciate the high image quality this offers.
Read the full review →The Canon PowerShot S95 addresses virtually all of the issues that detracted from its predecessor - most notably the lack of HD video and sky-high price - whilst further improving the handling and customization.

Read the full review →Got this camera last September and have used it on a big New Zealand trip, snowboarding trips and everyday trips (never leave the house without it). I wanted a pocketable camera with great image quality, low-light ability and HD video recording. I had been waiting months for the Panasonic LX5 to...
Read the full review →Definitely the best point and shoot out there (technically I'd say the Canon S100 now though, as it's the S95's successor).
Read the full review →Great compact camera. Not the same image quality as a DSLR obviously, but very good quality overall. I've used this camera extensively outdoors, on both day hikes and weekend type adventures and found the battery lasted the entire trip taking literally hundreds of photos powering the camera on...
Read the full review →It's hard to imagine a more versatile, full-featured camera that takes great pictures in such a small and light package. The only thing I wish it had is true HD video.
Read the full review →Beware of what other camera manufacturer are calling compact cameras. The S95 is TRULY a compact camera, and the best one at that. The Photo quality and range of options put it at the head of a very prestigious class of enthusiast aimed power compacts. The design of the camera has been imitated...
Read the full review →It a good compact camera for this price and size. Good and real compact you can ever get, lowest entry point for the quality you can get, good dual dial mode and good low light mode. Please note video not continuous auto focus and only 720p. Fast shooting, support raw if you need it( but I not...
