If you're tempted to buy the G11 for its image quality, flexibility of lens range or high level of manual control on a compact camera, you may find a camera that outdoes it - the G11's talent is to offer all of these things.

I just purchased the Canon G 11 based on some of the advanced reviews touting good low light photgraphy. So far this is very impressive point and shoot. Controls are easy to use and familiar to Canon Power Shot users. I am particularly happy with the adjustable viewfinder. I haven't had one...

For a solid camera with a lot of flexibility and still relatively portable, this camera hits the mark. Though I still think camera options in all cameras are too complex than is needed, this one has a lot of the features wanted for pros while still allowing full auto. I love the swivel LCD...
