This is a great printer to have if you like to print photos, or you would just prefer to have a high quality printer at home. The functions that it has built in are great, and the scanner is as clear as day. The only things I would say to watch out for is that it takes 5 different ink cartridges to work. You need to have all of them, with some ink in them, installed for this printer to do anything. So if you run out of ink, and decide you still want to scan something, you're out of luck. If you are on the hunt for a printer with cheap ink, look elsewhere. The ink costs $70 for a pack of all 5 cartridges, which is insane, especially if you do a lot of printing. Other than that, it is a great printer to have, until you run out of ink, then it becomes a massive paper weight.
