I'd like to know which one is better, not which one is worth the money!
I m a beginner in photography. I wish to buy a DSLR Camera. I m interested in Canon EOS 550D. Is it worth?
I'm a graphic designer, and looking for a good first camera. I've been looking at the DSLR camera's for a while but I don't know which is right for me. I honestly don't take pictures A LOT, but I believe if I had a camera I would use it. I also like shooting video and editing them. Camera's I've looked at: -- Canon EOS 550D Which camera fits my criteria?
I've had this for about a year, it's my first DSLR. I was just curious if there was anything I needed to do as far as taking good care of it. Both my 18-55mm lens and 50mm pancake Canon lenses are starting to have issues autofocusing. I can still manual focus perfectly fine, but I noticed it takes quite a while to autofocus on both lenses, if it even does at all. Also my 50mm lens can't seem to focus on anything anymore. I try to adjust the focus and it only affects the actual lens' clarity by a...
I'm a bit of a self learner. For anyone who has a DSLR, could you recommend some online websites that may offer really helpful tutorials, video instructions, or perhaps even free classes? Any ideas? I'm a very beginner photographer at the moment so what do you recommend for basic and even intermediate learning?
My lens broke and I have considered upgrading my Rebel XT with the Rebel T3 or possibly the T1i.
The standard kit lens 18-55, is around $150. The thing is the T3 but it's down to $420 on Amazon, a complete steal. I want to eventually move up to a more professional SLR but I am a senior in college with a very limited budget.
How is the T3?
I'm planning to use my T2i for some video projects soon, but I only have the standard, included 18-55mm lens (which isn't bad at all). I want a good movie lens that is pretty universal, so I can use it for all different kinds of shots. I want the zoom and focus to be smooth and quiet so my external mic doesn't pick it up.
I need to find the lowest prices for a lens that suits my needs because the price of the lens is the same amount of money I need to save up to buy it.
I am not a photographer or anything.. just looking in to buy nice camera with nice price but looking into review is making me more confused
I'm using a RiDATA Lightning Series 32GB SDHC card, and I just imported my files, and the last two .mov files were corrupt when I looked at them on my computer. I don't want to pay for any software to fix it, because it is more inconvenient than disastrous.
Pretty sure I'm going to get the T2i, mostly for video recording. But now I'm torn between buying it with the 18-55mm kit lens, or buying the body and a 50mm 1.8 lens separately (as I've heard its great for video). Thoughts?
I've narrowed my search for cameras down to the 550D or the D5100. I went through the reviews on DPReview and they both come very close to each other. They fit my needs and my budget perfectly so I'm ready to just order one of them. Before I do this though my last thing to check into is why someone might choose Nikon over Canon or the vice versa. For those of you who have used both or went through the same process why did you choose one over the other?
i got this one: http://www.amazon.com/PNY-SDHC-Flash-Memory-P-SDH3... i used it for the first time this morning for easter to record some HD video. (i formated it before using it) it did great for a while then it started stopping the recording just after I hid the record button? is it possible i have a bad card? i cleaned all the stuff off formatted it but it started doing it after about a 5 minute recording?...
I'm getting better at manually focusing, my only problem is the internal mic. It picks up my focus and zoom scrolling to much. Also, my voice way overpowers my subject's too. I'm looking for a solution that I can mount on top of the body. I want to minimize focus noise and maximize subject recorsing. Anyone used anything for this?
Just wondering if I can some how utilize the big screen for photoshoots?
if so how much do you think I should sell the body for? its in like new shape.
I've cleaned the sensor with the clean sensor option in the menu and sometimes the pixel goes away and sometimes it doesn't. Now I can't get a change at all. I was wondering how normal this was and if I could fix it myself with a manual sensor clean (that I have no idea how to perform) or do I need to send it back for a new body.
