- Image quality No comments
- Video quality The lack of auto focus is a real downer. If you're filming stationery it's awesome, if it's something moving it quickly turns sour.
- Battery life Had a second battery, but rarely needed to use it.
- Design and form factor I have pretty big hands and never had a problem with the ergonomics of it like I've had with other DSLR's
- Durability Survived my ex-wife.
- Speed (start-up time, lag) No comments
- Ease of use Any modes outside of full auto take some time to get figured out.
Detailed review
I bought the camera initially to handle both video and photo duties. I do work on the side for an automotive blog and it's far easier for me to have a camera that does both. The video (especially in 1080p) can quickly get choppy and without auto focus you end up with weird spots if you're shooting anything moving.
Ultimately, this is a camera and it's point is to take pictures. Taking pictures it does incredibly well. The pre-configured modes were more than adequate for what I needed.
