Is this a DSLR you can set as a webcam?
I'm looking towards the Canon T3i primarily for making videos on YouTube. I have a Canon Elph 300HS currently, and I was considering this for the next step up. I just recently ruled out the T3 due to the lack of microphone input.

Canon EOS 7D upgrade rumors
I have the Canon 500D since 2009 and I feel that it is time to upgrade. I always wanted the 7D but to be honest the model is almost as old as the 500D, the current 600D and 60D have some features I would love to see in the possible 7D replacement.
Should I keep waiting for the 7D upgrade from Canon or just buy the 60D? When do you think the 7D "Mark II" will be released? What new features should it include?

Which Canon DSLR should I get?
So, my Canon XSi that served me faithfully for a few years has gone missing. I have absolutely no idea what happened to it because last time I saw it, it was sitting on my couch. What are the best cameras to use with the Eyefi SD/SDHC cards?
I'm hosting a conference next week and want to give folks five cameras with Eyefis that have long battery life and that take great photos of people and the stage. These cards don't work in my Canon 7D sadly. :-(

External Flash or Battery Grip?
I'm still new to photography and I can't buy both right now so I'm wondering what everyone thinks I should invest in first? I personally don't like flash much but I'm used to having the built in flash which I feel ruins pictures and I know that externals can do a much better job once you know how to use them. I would like to get the grip mostly for portrait shots rather than longer battery life.

I really like my 50mm f/1.4 but it just seems too zoomed for me sometimes. I need some suggestions on <50mm but still has a low f-stop.
I always feel like I should be able to take a picture from where I'm standing to find out I'm to close with the 50 so then I have to use my other lenses but they don't have the focus I like to play with. I'm not rich but all suggestions are welcome so I can know what options there are.

I've been wanting to get into photography and video for at least 2 years now but because of price, I couldn't get myself to jump in.
Ever since the 5D Mark II I've be drooling over a DSLR for a while. I've decided I want to buy the 7D* but I've heard multiple times that the sense that comes with it isn't worth the extra cash. I just want some good lens suggestions that wont cost a fortune but is versatile. I plan on getting the 50mm f/1.8 because I've heard so much good and the price is cheap but I want something that also has zoom when I need it. *final decision.
