Conclusion: We like it
If you're a pro shooter with a collection of Canon lenses, you'll want to add the full-frame Mark III to your collection, despite its $3,000 price tag. If you're not, that price might give you pause, despite the camera's ability to capture great shots in virtually all lighting conditions, fast and accurate autofocus system, and excellent video quality. The Mark III may be worth the money, but if you're not a pro, you may be better served by a more modest model, like the Rebel T4i, which goes for under $1,000.

In decent natural light or in controlled studio lighting though, the 5D III’s photos were fabulous, with my portrait session producing creamy skin tones and attractive colors. If you photograph weddings, parties, or people in general, this is the camera for you.

Haven't tried video and too early to tell for battery life. Otherwise I love this camera and it's a great upgrade from the Mark II for a variety of features - ISO performance, better LCD, electronic level, better menu interface, better build quality, etc.
