This is a very nice lens, it creates sharp images with very looks chromatic adoration. It has a great focal range at 24-70mm. It is quite heavy for a walk around lens which is what I need it for, but the image quality makes up for the extra ounces.

This lens is a staple in the pro's kit. It's a bit big and heavy, but it does what you need it to do in low light. It's not the best on a crop sensor body, but still very useful. Note that for all its weight it does LACK IS which can sometimes be a problem.

2.8 all the way through. Really sharp. USM. Really great for video. I couldn't be happier.
