Bought to replace a HL-1240 that lasted me 11 years and the drum was starting to go. This was $120 at Best Buy, which was just twice the price of a new toner for the 1240. I'm on a long USB run and the USB2.0 on this was having errors where the 1.1 on the 1240 could handle the 30 foot run....
