What can I say, i'm a married dad of two toddlers. The only way I'm listening to music these days is with headphones when everyone is asleep. These throw me back to the days when I had to wear big phones to not disturb my parents. Now I'm rediscovering that feeling of hearing great music for the first time.

I've had dozens of headphones over the years and these are by far my favorites. The sound quality in a quiet room is terrific and make the phones worth the price. On the plane they do a terrific job of canceling noise even though they aren't noise canceling per se.

My only complaint is the leather on the pads themselves. I don't use these all day long or anything and they appear to be wearing down a bit. Hopefully they hold up for another few years (16 months and counting) to warrant the price.
