First let me be clear that they are not cheap nor should you ever expect anything to be cheap when it comes with the "Bose" logo. Past the costs which are high you have to look a the product itself. I've owned this product for about 18 months now and I have no breakage issues...

I travel a lot and these earphones are the best thing to wear on airplanes and riding on the amtrak. Wear them while working at home, they are really comfortable and do not stress the ears at all.
