Seems to me that these have been on the market forever. Trying to decide whether to purchase these, but don't want to splurge if there are updates on the way.
I've seen some things online saying once the battery dies, so do the headphones. So does that mean you can't use these while the noise cancellation is off or without a battery?
I want a quality pair of noise cancelling headphones and while I tried the Sony's and liked them, the design was release in 2008 and the price is insanely high at $500. Which direction should I go?
There seems to be an issue with the cable, but other than that how would they most likely break? The connection between the cups and the head piece is often a soft spot. Thoughts?
I most likely won't use them much when out and about due to size, but it's possible that I might. I was looking at the three above with my preference being the Beats (I'm an apple guy, so the white color and clean look appeals to me), however they seem quite overpriced. Just wanted to let everyone know that if your cord is damaged, go to your nearest Bose retailer and get it replaced. In my initial review of these on gdgt, I mentioned that I thought the cord was a bit flimsy. After using these for about five months, the mini-jack end separated from the rubber shielding and exposed the wire. The next day I went to the Bose store, and they immediately replaced it with a new one - no questions asked. I think Bose must have realized just how flimsy the original...
