The bottom line: While they're no bargain, the Bose QuietComfort 15s currently offer the best sound and silencing capabilities in a pair of noise-canceling headphones.

Most people looking for noise-canceling headphones want to block out the rumble of a 737's engine or the endless drone of a subway car. In this regard, the QC15 can't be beat. That it also offers high quality, if not astounding, audio performance is a bonus.

I’m not music nut but I have found the QC3s – and now the QC15s – to be faithful to the source without too much bass and the comfort and noise-canceling seal the deal. If you travel, give them a try.

The Bose QuietComfort 15 can improve a work commute like few other over-ear headphone sets. Happy to be worn for hours, they'll take on duties at work too. Out-and-about, they thrive, but as an at-home musical partner you can get better sound quality for the same price.

I have been using these headphones for almost a year and love them! I previously had beats by dre and for about the same price the Bose QC15's are WAY more comfortable and sound much better. I highly recommend these headphones to anyone.

Great for a plane (definitely makes listening to music or watching movies easier)! Big and comfy, but not compact enough to make want to travel. Total catch 22. For the price...I think I could have done better.

Great set of Headphones, the noise cancellation is really good. The one downside with these headphones are they require batteries, even if you don't want to use the noise cancellation mode. But apart from that, incredible sound and very comfortable.

These don't handle bass as well as the dre beats but they do everything else better. And since my musical taste are eclectic at best i chose these and cant say i'm sorry. World class support and you often get people asking you about them because the styling is so beautiful. I bought...

They are by far the best work headphones I have ever had hand down. These are not really around the city headphones, but more of sit in one place and block out the coworker, sounds of BART/MUNI. I wouldn't walk around the city with these on for the fear of not hearing the bus/car bearing down on...
