I had these headphones for over 4 years, until recently they have been working pretty well.

Build:
When I first got the headphones they were the best thing since sliced bread. About half a year after getting them I fell asleep with them on and somehow damaged the inside speaker. I found out that if I tapped on the the outside hard enough it pushed it back into place and worked wonders.

About a year after getting them the plastic band that goes over the head broke just above the ear-cup, I was able to tape it up fairly easily and had minimal problems.

Then after about 4 years of heavy use the material holding the padding came loose and the padding fell out. It makes them super uncomfortable to wear without that padding, so I've pretty much stopped using them.

Sound:
The sound is very rich and has a nice frequency response. They are great for playing at LAN parties, which is where they found most of their extended use. I was able to hear things in game that most people could not. I got yelled at because they thought I was cheating because I could hear them coming but they could not hear me.

Overall:
They are a good set of headphones with great sound and okay build quality. They were able to hold up to 4 years of a heavy abuse and still sound great. I'm thinking that they have probably upped the build quality in the past few years so it is probably a better bargain now.
