very sluggish since updating to version 4.5.0.138
I updated to the newest available version a couple of weeks ago and since then my phone has become very sluggish, especially when the screen is off and I initially hit a button or trackball to get it to come up. Has anyone else experienced this this?? FYI: My phone is the 8130 and I'm on Verizon
Is the gps free on AT&T?
Can I use the gps for free or does AT&T charge you for a gps-service?

Dial Letters by holding Alt and pressing the Letter
Tip for all blackberry users out there, when you have one of those phone prompts that tells you to "spell out a word/name using your telephone keypad", instead of having to recall that the 2 key is ABC; you can just hold down the Alt key on the keyboard, then press the key for the letter A, B, or C and it will make the 2 tone for you.

Favorite and Least Favorite Attribute(s)
Share your favorite attribute about the blackberry pearl. My favorite attributes are its sheer Renaissance-phone-like utility and multi-tasking capability that works on along with the full days worth of use. The attribute I dislike the most is that there's no prevention of over loading the phone, sometimes causing it to hang or crash.

Yeah you could add it to your AutoComplete list, but what fun is that? Like pretend you write a made up word multiple times a day like "phxdepo". If you add an address book entry, and put down the persons name as...

8130 Deletes texts when I run too many apps
I love this phone so much. I really do. It's so small. It has an 1/8" out. It does most of the stuff I want to just fine. Whenever I think it's broken, it's not - except for in one big way: it deletes my texts whenever I'm using too much system memory. Apparently this is done so the device can free up memory as quickly as possible. But why would that be the place to delete from first!?! Have any of you had success in ways with dealing with this? I know it's epidemic, but...
