Detailed review
I own the 8310 variant of the curve, and I have left the iphone to stay with the curve. It is a very useful little smartphone that can do a lot.
it has a great keyboard, although it may feel a little too stiff if you compare it to the newer bold/tour keyboards. the keys are reasonably spaced out, but if you try to type too fast, you are prone to pressing two/three keys at once... :)
the screen is very bright and clear. the ambient sensor works well in adjusting the screen brightness and saving battery power.
the hardware build quality is very solid and durable. I can say its even better than the HTC hero build quality, as I saw a flaw in the hero that does not occur in the curve.
the ease of trackball access for replacement purposes is also a plus point, given that in the newer blackberrys you have to take apart most of the phone to get to the trackball!
loading a lot of apps may slow it down, and the only downside i see is the paltry amount of memory (64MB for the 8310). Only if there was more.
all in all, its a great little phone that has a lot of potential.
