Detailed review
I decided on the Bold 9900 because of the social appeal, and the fact that the Lumia 800 just wasn't what I was looking for. So basically, this phone is a placeholder until Nokia and Microsoft sufficiently "wows" me. However, I'm not sad that I bought the 9900. Far from it. The device is speedy, well built, and visually appealing. It is only, truly hindered by its sub-par battery (I usually have to charge it twice a day), a totally rubbish "eco-system", and my own personal gripe, the fact that it is seemingly impossible to use most apps or internet related features, without a data plan (there is no option to give wifi preference at all).
In conclusion, if you truly want a Blackberry, you can't go wrong with the 9900, but if what you're looking for is something a bit more "dynamic", something a bit more fun, you're probably better off looking elsewhere.
