This is a great device for just plain reading, and if sales are any indication, there are still plenty of people who want to do just that.

At $99, the Nook SimpleTouch is competitively priced, and a bargain compared with other touchscreen E Ink e-readers, which only achieve this price by adding advertisements to the home screen and lock screen.

Awesome little e-reader. Perfect size, good weight. Latest software update fixed minor wi-fi issues and dramatically reduced page loading times. Rooted mine and installed an alternative launcher. Not a terribly useful mod, but a fun project for an evening.
