- Speed and features i5/i7 intel cpus put almost all other mobile ones to shame. SSD hd makes this thing snappy.
- Design and form factor sleek lightweight and strong, so strong this thing can be used as a weapon!
- Battery life We always want more battery life, but I have found this gets me through a solid days work, (without brightness/cpu on high.)
- Display Bright beautiful display, but drains the battery on full brightness like every other screen.
- Durability This thing is a solid weapon, would hate to dent the case of it but anything out there gets dents.
- Expandability No comments
- Noise it is not without a fan, its not the loudest but not the quietest I have heard before.
- Portability (size / weight) Feels as light as an ipad.
Detailed review
Although its a costly investment, I have found I cant be productive on a tablet OS and with this laptop I can have a full desktop experience where ever I want it. With this laptop we something that has outstanding weight/battery life/build quality. The SSD and i5/i7 cpu makes this thing almost as fast my i7 desktop pc (on most everyday tasks).
I chose this 11inch over the 13inch one as I want something that is the size of a netbook and not like my previous bulky pos overheating HP laptop. This is a personal preference and will come down to what you are comfortable with. Those with large fingers/hands may not be able to cope with such a small keyboard.
The keyboard size/layout is what worried me after using it for about a month now I can say I can transition well and my type speed is almost equal to my desktop keyboard. You do make the sacrifice of not having a HOME/END button but FN key combinations are easily learnt.
The build quality and strength this machine is impressive and gives the impression it will stay together for a long time. The only problem with that is there is almost no upgradeable components or removable battery. It really is as disposable as an ipad.
Only thing this laptop cant do is play desktop games, well not on high settings at least :)
Largest complaint it the inconsistent touch pad responsiveness with drivers/bios it ships with.
If you want a portable workstation that tablet OS's cant provide get this and stay productive, say goodbye to bulky heavy laptops that annoy us in travel.
