  • Speed and features Processor and nVidia card are great. Hdd a bit slow, bloat ware on there too. good
  • Design and form factor Amazing build quality smooth curves and great keyboard, much better touchpad great!
  • Battery life About 6 solid hours on non-gaming great!
  • Display Best windows display you have ever seen. IPS 1080 is the amazing, can't do better. great!
  • Durability Seems very sturdy and all metal great!
  • Expandability Ram is upgd to 6gb, HDD is 7MM 2.5 HDD , so SSD is possible swap. I added a crucial M4 SSD 256GB (converted to 7mm) 6GB ram. Formatted windows. So fast now good
  • Noise When the laptop switches to nVidia, it's like RC helicopters in there. Very not happy thus far on noise. ( Update: manufacturing tape was inside the GPU fan) good
  • Portability (size / weight) A little over 3 lbs and it feels great for gaming in style great!
Detailed review
I wanted to love this laptop so so much. You get the build and style of a MacBook air and the nVidia of a gamers rig, the 1080P IPS screen is by far the best thing since retina. Text looks hand painted. The touchpad is awesome, keyboard great, but man on man that 3d card kicks off and you just feel the fan noise running through your veins. I guess if you had noise canceling headphones... But I cannot fully recommend it 100% with that racket.
*****UPDATE***** Piece of tape dangling in GPU fan, removed and now noise is quiet. Still the 5400 RPM disk slow, ASus bloat ware everywhere. Swapped with 7mm SSD and fresh Windows now awesomess.

When I originally posted it was the only for the UX32VD, but GDGT decided to rename the section :-( Look below the tittle GSGT grouped all the same family of laptops together (includes....) So GDGT is the one messing this up ... oh welll
