  • Features Alot of features, but could have more like a full SD card slot built in to the tablet vs the dock, and no micro USB on the tablet which should be a standard. good
  • Display Amazing. Great blacks, bright and vibrant colors, and accurate whites. great!
  • Battery life Good but not great. I get around 8.2 hours of life with it on auto brightness and playing games here and there. Ipad still beats it here. good
  • Ease of use its android, more features than apple and just as idiot proof great!
  • Storage capacity 64GB with the option of going up 64GB+ with a Micro SD card (have to format it as NTSF) great!
  • Design and form factor Very solid body, the plastic is also quite solid as well. holds up well against dents. great!
  • Portability (size / weight) a little on the lengthy side, but thats because its 16:10 vs 4:3 in aspect ratio. Very light though good
  • Durability Survived a waist high drop on its to its corner and didnt even ding, just a scratch on the corner. Very sturdy great!
Detailed review
This is a great device. Very solid and well built. Proved itself in an accidental drop the other night when it slid off my Case Logic Case and crashed from my desk onto the floor. All it did was scratch the corner slightly. Nothing more.

Its extremely powerful and games play perfectly on it. Sadly though games like Dead Trigger will lag at 23-25fps when you mirror the tablet to an HDTV, but on the device itself it runs at 30-50fps. The quad core 1.6Ghz Tegra T33 is a monster of a SOC and the GPU holds itself well on the system when compared to the more powerful PowerVR SGX543MP4 and MP4+ that you find in the iPad, and the PSVita. Overclockers are going to love this tablet because two of my friends were able to get their to OC to 2.1Ghz without a hiccup or an crash do to overheating.

The Micro SD card slot is great, especially if you formatted a 64GB card to NTFS or Fat32. I recommend NTSF because it allows you to have files over 4GB. However it would have been better, and cheaper for the consumer if it was a full SD card slot. Another plus is the Micro HDMI slot with supported 7.1 channel support. So far it works quite well and outputs at full 1200p, which is a huge change from the older Tegra 3 which only outputted at 800p.

Battery life could be better, but with a 1200p display and a 1.6ghz processor, it is understandable. So far my range of life goes from 4 hours (in performance mode and gaming heavily) to 7.8 hours (for doing everything and gaming) to around 8.5-9 hours for light tasks. I do not have my keyboard dock yet, but even without, its still going to last you the fair majority of your day.

There is only one complaint I have wit this tablet. Only the most powerful USB car charger will work for this thing. You would be better off just getting a 300w 120v car adaptor to charge the thing because nothing I have tested will charge it other than its power adaptor. Outside of this, the tablet is flawless, and one of the best I have tried so far. It destroys the iPad in terms of user friendliness, and options. So far a very well deserve 9.0 out of 10.
