- Features It has a few shortcomings, but overall I am very impressed with this tablet.
- Display While it may not be retina, the Nexus 7 has one of the best displays I've seen on a tablet.
- Battery life So far during my real world test I'm able to get a little over 2 days out of a charge. This is excellent.
- Ease of use The learning curve for me is much shorter since I'm an Android user, but the Nexus 7 has been very easy to navigate.
- Storage capacity I won't like 8GB and 16GB aren't the best options. I got the 16GB just to be on the safe side. But I understand this is meant to stream most of your content.
- Design and form factor This has to be one of the sexiest tablets I've come across. The size and that back panel are excellent!
- Portability (size / weight) I'll say it once, I'll say it again, the 7 inch size is perfect for a tablet. Big enough where I don't have to always zoom in, and small enough to carry around.
- Durability I don't make it a practice of finding out how durable my gadgets are, as I take care of them. But the Nexus 7 looks as if it could take a drop or two.
Detailed review
The Nexus 7 to me is one of the hottest tablets on the market right now. It has its size, looks, features, and price all going for it right now.
While the storage option may put off some, I for one can let it slide. I know beyond streaming content, there is a lot of cloud based storage options that you can use with the Nexus 7, including Google's own Drive. So with that being said, spring for the 16GB one if you are worried, but you should be fine.
Other than that, this is just a great tablet all around, and a first to have Android's Jellybean load on there. So if you are in the market for a tablet, this is the one my friends!
