I suggested my girlfriend get this netbook because I had the 1000he and thought she'd enjoy this one. However we've had multiple problems with it. First of all the webcam will not work unless you press on the VGA dongle cable latch underneath the unit. Like something is lose. Windows will simply not detect it if you don't apply pressure to it. Has anyone put Windows 7 on this machine (or Mac OS X!) ? I looks lika great little netbook but XP just seems so dated and very slow compared to Windows 7

Does anyone else think this is the best bargain right now for a decent netbook? When it was first released I assumed it would be a big ripoff just for the design. But now that the street price on this has drifted down I'm completely reversing that opinion. I think the extra $50 ($350 vs $300) is well worth the better quality and great design, not to mention WiFi-N, LED backlighting, and multitouchpad (webcam is only VGA though).

which one would you buy and why. comparing just the product which one would you get. and with the price.

Just picked this up to replace my Asus Eee PC 900. Going to open it up and see how it is when I find some free time.
