Detailed review
After 3 days of casual gaming my A50's took a dump! They stopped working altogether & are a Paperweight! Not only the did Astro A50 Headset fail the Dolby button on the Mix-Amp box failed as well.

Talk about junk! This headset can't even out perform my Turtle Beach "Earforce X41's" cause after having issues witht he A50's, I plugged my turtle Beach Headset back in & they WORK (unlike my new stro A50's)!
Oh & another Nail in the Coffin for the A50's is this: When I go on the Asto Gaming Website to get a Phone # to call them about the problem's I am having with the A50's, they have me fill out a form & say they will get back to me within 24 hrs. What a Bunch of Crap! I can't even talk to anyone at Astro about my problems with their product, I have to fill out a form & wait (that is total BS)!

I am done with Astro, going back to my Turtle Beach & may look at the new Tritton Warheads coming out in August.

I doubt that this review will even make it on the Astro Gaming Website (which I did submit it there).

Either way, I will post it everywhere I can cause people have to know that the Astro A50's have some major flaws!

This review isn't helpful and should be ignored (better yet, removed). The complaint over manufacturing issues, while understandable, is taken to an immature point when he can't even be bothered to wait a business day for Astro to contact him in order to resolve his issue.
Uneasiest

Why a 2.0? If I were to go by the categories this should be a 6.0

I agree - a pointless review. Sometimes things go wrong - which is worth noting - but reviews like "This headset can't even out perform my Turtle Beach "Earforce X41's" cause after having issues witht he A50's, I plugged my turtle Beach Headset back in & they WORK (unlike my new stro A50's)!" just don't help

It should be noted that Astro rarely meets their 24 hour turnaround for customer support response time. The most successful way to get a response seems to be to open a support ticket then escalate via their Facebook page.
