- Voice / mic quality Sometimes the mic distance is difficult to adjust and takes fiddling to find the 'sweet spot'. Once it's there, though it works great.
- Sound quality Simulated Surround Sound feature works as advertised - newer games sound great.
- Comfort After wearing for a really long time they start to feel a little heavy, but much more comfortable than any other headset I've used.
- Durability Good, solid feel - though I haven't seriously dropped or done anything that tests durability, it feels solid.
- Design and form factor Fits well, adjustable to different sizes, and doesn't pinch or squeeze, but also doesn't feel loose.
Detailed review
These have been above and beyond my expectations for a headset. It integrates amazingly with my Xbox LIVE chat feature, as well as having great audio quality. Much cheaper and more practical than a surround speaker set.
Pros:
+Very high sound quality and the simulated surround sound is surprisingly accurate
+Easy to connect to XBox LIVE for in-game and party chat features
+Adjustable input/voice volume balance
+Detachable microphone boom
Cons:
-The mass of wires with the MixAmp is a little unwieldy, but with the newly released wireless MixAmp, I'm sure this will be helped a lot.
