Detailed review
I'll start by saying these are my favorite headphones I've ever owned. Every part feels quality made, well though out, and sturdy. The sound quality is excellent, probably the best I've heard. They are very comfortable, reasonably light, and breath to keep your ears surprisingly cool. Prehaps my favorite feature is the MixAmp, which, although a little cumbersome, allows you to plug in up to five sources at the same time. I keep my 360 and PC hooked up at the same time and can easily control the audio levels of each with the mixing dial on the MixAmp, which is great for listening to music while playing a game. Even better, being a Skype user if a call comes in I can switch to the PC audio completly and be talking on the phone in seconds with out taking the head set off. I also had a slight problem which customer support addressed in less than 24 hours with a very lengthy email response that solved the problem. Overall, from unboxing to post purchase support the experience is second to none.
Now for the few complaints that kept me from giving them a 10. First, although the sound is excellent, the bass is a little weak, nothing that should turn you away from a purchase, but its something I noticed and haven't seen much talk of. Second, after initial setup I was getting a buzzing on the mic. Although customer service got back to me very quickly and solved the problem (the front panel USB connector on my PC was apparently providing "dirty" power, switching to a USB connector on the back solved the issue), while researching the problem I found a lot of people having similar issues with the mic, which is admittedly a very minor issue, but something to keep in mind when considering the price. Which brings me to my final complaint, they are very expensive.
