The Archos 101 has a very thin design with built-in kickstand, plenty of USB and mini-HDMI ports, and over seven hours of battery life. On the downside, it has a discolored screen with poor viewing angles, performance can be sluggish at times, and it has a flimsy build.

This device was purchased as a hold over until tablets start to get a little better. For $300 you can't ask for anything better. In fact I think this is a heckuva deal at $300. I'd be hesitant to pay $450 plus for it though, thankfully you don't have to. Overall everything is...

*some of the following is from a comment I posted* Please, stay away from the Archos 101. This is a terrible, terrible device. I'm just going to start off with the deal-breaker: the screen on this thing is the worst I've seen on any consumer electronics device. It was simply unusable....
