Apple Wireless Keyboard 2nd-gen
latest questions
I have an Apple Wireless keyboard, which I would like to take to work as my ThinkPad is docked there. I'd really prefer if I could use my Apple keyboard at work as well. I understand that the function keys won't work, but wouldn't it be possible to use it just for typing?

Keyboard won't work on Facebook/iPad2
When using the keyboard with Facebook on an iPad2, the Send button disappears on Facebook. I don't know how to send a comment. The Return key merely gives me a carriage return. Any thoughts?

Does anyone make a PC version of the Apple keyboard?
I don't have much room on my desk at work and have always liked the minimal look of the Apple keyboard, especially since I don't use a number pad too often.

Any way to enable iPad shortcuts using Apple Bluetooth Keyboard?
So I just picked up an Apple Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad 2. I had a keyboard dock for my iPad 1 laying around, but because it's not specifically designed for the second generation tablet (I've read that it damages the 30-pin connector) and the fact I just backed an awesome Kickstarter project (WINGStand), I opted for the BT accessory. While the dock was a little annoying to lug around, I loved being able to use the shortcut keys: F7 through F9 for music controls, F10 through F12 for volume...

Any way to revive a water damaged keyboard?
I've managed to kill 2 of the newer ('flat') Apple keyboards, now, just by gently trying to clean them with a moist towel to get rid of some of the dirt. First the wider, wired one, now this wireless model. After the first time, I was very careful to not use too much fluid, but something must have still seeped inside it, because some of the keys stopped working (the whole lower row from around z to n) and even after two weeks of waiting, it didn't magically (no pun intended) fix itself. I didn't...

Is there a way to turn this off?
I got one for using with my iPad on-the-go, but every time I tried to pack it with me, its batteries would be dead after a day or two. I can only guess that while in my backpack it gets turned on from bumping into other things and the batteries drain. No on/off switch that I can see..

Why does Apple's Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse sometimes automatically pair with random nearby computers? (And how does one prevent and fix this issue?
) I've seen this issue a number of times -- enough that I've become convinced it's not a fluke. We run almost almost entirely Macs here at the office, and upon occasion I'll come into work and my Apple Wireless Keyboard simply won't connect with my machine, usually because it'll somehow be paired with another computer that it's never connected to before. (And yes, you can definitely rule out pranking -- read on.) I've seen this happen in a number of...

Will not turn on
My wireless keyboard was working perfectly until today when I changed the batteries. A little plastic disk fell out of the keyboard. I put it back in and then put the batteries in. Didn't work. Tried without the plasitc disk. Didn't work. Tried with the plastic disk put in backwards. Didn't work. I went to Apple Support discussions. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=... I tried the tin foil, I tried the steel wool. Didn't work. Does...

Constantly losing connection to my MacMini
Hi, I'm probably not the only one, but I'm constantly losing the connection to the MacMini if I go farther away than 5 feet. The Apple Wireless Mouse works fine on the other hand. Both are meant for a Media Center.
