I've noticed this happening a lot over the past few months. I'll leave my desk for a few minutes, come back to my computer (screen saver not engaged) and start typing something into a text field and my computer will often ignore the first few characters. It's really weird to start typing something like, "I dislike brussels sprouts" in an email and find out that I ultimately typed, "like brussels sprouts."
