The new 2TB Time Capsule brings improved price competitiveness and faster networking performance to Apple's Wi-Fi router/NAS drive combo device, which will satisfy consumers in need of a multipurpose networking device.

Read the full review →So, if you want Mac backup in one simple unit, there is no better solution than a Time Capsule. And this one is slightly improved over the last. But unlike a year ago when the first generation drive came out, there are other options that are slightly cheaper.
Read the full review →Apple has done a fine job of building an easy way for Leopard users to perform Time Machine backups over the network, but don't expect advanced NAS features.
Read the full review →Minor criticisms aside, this is an excellent product. It might sacrifice configurability for simplicity, but that's exactly what many home users want. And with the new capacity upgrade, there's never been a better time to buy a Time Capsule.
Read the full review →The Good: The Time Capsule simply worked. I had long struggled to find a wireless router that was both fast and easy to use. That's why I was so pleased with my first (and only) 18 months using my 1TB Time Capsule. I encountered none of the intermittent signal problems I had experienced...
Read the full review →2010-09-13 Apple announced a repair program for the TC back in July I promptly called Applecare. Within 3 days, I dropped off the TC at the local 3rd party Apple warrantee provider. After they fixed it, I asked if they would let me pay the difference between the 2T & 1T TC, and take home a...

There is just one design flaw. See, Steve Jobs hates fan noise almost as much as he hates styli. So, they design the...

Read the full review →I know folks have had an issue with the original models, but honestly this one seems fairly stable, no hard drive issues. We are using three of these as just 1 (but not the only) back up solutions in the office (we also use cloud/offsite and a server located in the office). They work splendidly...
Read the full review →Very good and easy to use backup system. Reccommend it to anyone just for the sake of backing up your system. There are reports and sites dedicated to the flimsiness and crappyness of Time Capsules but I've yet to see one crash.
Read the full review →Although I haven't spent too much time adjusting network features, the few times I've had to do anything it's not as intuitive as I'd like it to be.
