A Pismo was my first Apple Laptop ever. I bought it off CL from a guy who said it wouldn't boot. I just reset the P-RAM and reseated the internal battery and the laptop booted out without an issue. When I went to upgrade the RAM or HDD the process was so easy. You just needed a Hex screw driver and a small Phillips head. The Current Generation MacBooks are OK to upgrade but nothing was easier then this laptop (besides the first gen Macbooks). I wish apple would move back to this method for...
