Detailed review
So it's 1997 and I need a laptop real bad. I'm writing a paper for a Cyberlaw class and I absolutely can't imagine being holed up in my room to do it (even though I'm one of the lucky few with Ethernet in my dorm). So I start looking around online (whatever "online" meant in '97) for a used laptop for sale. Not much available, although, there's this 5-year-old Powerbook 165c. Long story short, it made the paper possible, and arguably, it was in "color." The thing weighs a ton -- and since about 1999, I haven't got past the question-mark Mac disk error screen. Something must be wrong with the drive, but I don't have the right size Torx screwdriver to take it apart, and anyway, I think it's still running System 7.
I give it a 9.1 because it let me work in Loker and Lamont all through those last glamorous glorious ephedrine-fueled days of law school.
(Indeed.)
