  • Ease of use Mountain Lion includes many great features that make your Mac easier to use. good
  • Speed Startup speeds seem slightly slower compared to Lion so-so

  • Ecosystem (apps, drivers, etc.) Lots of great apps - drivers are provided by most hardware manufacturers now. good
  • Openness Gatekeeper closes down the system a bit, but since you can disable this feature openness has remained the same. so-so
Detailed review
Mountain Lion is a decent OS; it's reasonably priced. My main issues with Mountain Lion is even considering it an OS. It's a series of bug fixes for Lion and better ecosystem integration. Marketing Mountain Lion as an OS seems like a bit of a lie.

That a side I'd recommend anybody to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Finally App Store sends notifications when you have updates your App Store Applications, you no longer have to open App Store to see updates. Apple removed the animation for changing months in Calendar(iCal). This has made the application almost usable again.

Hello, I just want to mention that Apple has decided to implement a yearly release cycle for its operating systems. That means that they will not be as large and won't have as many changes as before. It may seem like they are doing less, but they are really just spacing out the changes more. :)
