  • Ease of use Mountain Lion builds on the ease of Lion. Ease of use is improved for "regular" users at the expense of power users in some cases. good
  • Speed The speed of the new safari is crazy fast, Chrome used to be fast, but is slowing down, it's nice to see improvements like this still coming. great!
  • Configurability Same point here as ease of use, the configurability is lacking in some cases as a trade off for making it easy to use for "regular" users. good
  • Ecosystem (apps, drivers, etc.) iCloud integration is getting so much better and a welcomed change to keep all my stuff up to date. great!
  • Openness Gatekeeper is kinda limited in my opinion, 3 option are not enough, I want to be able to override at the app level, not just make me turn on all "unsigned" apps so-so

Mountain Lion is definitely worth the upgrade for the iCloud enhancements alone!
