Where is the best place to buy music that will A. allow me to move the files without file restrictions B. give me the highest quality and C. have the files be an easy to use standard format, ideally MP3 over AAC.
I can hackintosh my PC but I just don't know is is good enough for me or not , Because the Speed of Win8 and the Metro are great ! Are the advantages more in this movement or the disadvantages ?
I Don't use my PC for Gaming !
are there any work arounds for running XP via bootcamp? i know apply doesn't support this anymore (i only need windows for a few work related tasks at home very occasionally, so i'm trying my best to not pay for windows 7).
Which online backup would you recommend for backing up multiple operating systems and easy mobile access. I know Dropbox is good and how does it compare to crashplan which offers family plan and supports multiple platforms, since i mainly use UBUNTU and OSX as my daily machines. Any help out there would be appreciated ? And what about Google Drive in the mix.
It seems a new "feature" in 10.8 is that after 3-4 scrolling swipes in a given direction, the scrolling distance increases dramatically. I'm finding that in a long document, I'm happily scrolling along, and then, whoa, I'm about 5 pages down from where I just was. I can't figure out a way to disable this behavior--disabling inertial scrolling has no effect as one might suspect--has anyone else been bothered by this or figured out how to disable it. I'm finding it to be a major UI problem.
Hi! I have an iMac from early 2008 and it's a bit slow because I have so much stuff (photos) on it. It is currently running Snow Leopard, but I would like to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Is there something I should do before just updating to speed up or clean out my computer? I just don't want it to become even slower or to just carry over any problems it may have.
I have a mid 2010 15inch MBP and upgraded to Mountain Lion... I have noticed that my computer has been running cooler while playing flash and silverlight videos. Also, the image is smoother. Is anyone else having similar improvements?
Has anyone found an app or 3rd-party preference pane for managing Apache on Mountain Lion since they removed it from the Sharing preference pane?
So in my OCD of needing to keep everything up to date (for security and such) I am planning on doing an upgrade on my work/personal machine to Mountain Lion tonight.
I am just waiting for the end of the work day and then I will take a time machine backup so I minimize the risk of downtime. I will want to be up and running for the work day tomorrow.
How is everyone's experience so far with the upgrade process? (Or perhaps even the OS?)
To clarify this would be the non-Retina version of the 15" MacBook Pro 2012.
I want to know that what now the windows 8 has copied from mac OS in this version ? Please provide me the links if possible.
