There are 2 "buttons" but right clicking means actually LIFTING your left finger up. The side buttons need the strength of a gorilla to register. The scroll ball constantly has you flicking forward and back pages as well as scrolling up and down. The mouse shape is uncomfortable. It's... Read the full review →

I really liked the Mighty Mouse until the scroll wheel broke down. The ability to configure the side buttons made it possible for me to assign functions such as bringing up the dashboard and exposé. The scroll wheel started to give trouble about two years into my ownership, and a few times I was... Read the full review →
I got this mouse after the scroll wheel broke on my Microsoft Arc Mouse. I wanted to get a bluetooth mouse so that I didn't have to use up a USB slot with a dongle. This is due to that fact that Apple seems to think that only having 3 USB ports on a 17" pro machine is okay. It's not.... Read the full review →
Bottom line is that this mouse gets out of your way by removing buttons but these just make it worse. The whole mouse is essentially one button which is depressed whenever any action is taken. Sensors give the mouse the option for detecting a secondary, or right, click. The mouse's lack of... Read the full review →
The mouse ball often gets dirty and requires frequent cleaning which is a real pain. Didn't we get past that with optical mice?. The shape of the mouse is very uncomfortable after extended use. The left and right mouse buttons are not distinct, instead the unit looks solid. They are there, but... Read the full review →
When I got my original intel iMac I eventually fell in love with the mighty mouse. I loved the responsiveness of the trackball and I absolutely loved being able to squeeze the mouse and have expose pop-up all my windows. While right clicking at first is problematic, as you have to lift your left... Read the full review →
I want to love the mighty mouse because it has the best scrolling in any mouse. But, the one button thing just really makes the experience of using it suck. If Apple would get that multi touch Mighty Mouse that is talked about it would become a great mouse. Having to hold the command key to actually... Read the full review →
I use this as a spare for my white Macbook. It matches well in terms of color, but I don't really care - some people do. My main mouse is a Logitech V270 Bluetooth in addition to using the built in touchpad. As a mouse in terms of tracking, responsiveness, and the ability to do... Read the full review →
The mouse fits in the hand well and does a good job of tracking. As with any red light mouse, don't expect it to track well on a redish-brown wood desk without a mouse pad. The cord is a little stiff, which means that it certainly does not fall into a neat little coil like it does in the... Read the full review →
I had a love /hate relationship with the Mighty Mouse. I loved how it was color coded to my iMac G5 loved the idea of the multi-direction scroll ball. However, the problems outweighed the reality of the device: the four touch-sensitive buttons were flakey, especially the ones on the side. In the... Read the full review →

A TERRIBLE mouse. All they did was take the old rubber trackball that used to be on the bottom and put it on the top and make it impossible to clean! One of my least favorite Apple products I have ever paid for. FAIL Read the full review →
I had high hopes for this mouse, but the execution was rather poor. The scroll ball always gets stuck in such a way that i can only scroll i one direction. Also, they way Apple made their clicking work does not allow for multiple click at the same time. For example, you cannot left and right click... Read the full review →
So I have been using the Mighty Mouse for a long time now and I have seen its pros and cons over the period of time. One of the major draw backs is that dust will accumulate on the track ball and it will cause the scrolling to stop working. A fix for this is to use alcohol wipes and wipe the ball... All around this mouse is a pain to use, but the biggest issue is that the side buttons are right where I hold the mouse with my thumb and ring finger so I'm always accidently activating these buttons. :-( Read the full review →
Looking back at the Mighty Mouse I find that I can't muster up a single good thing to say. How could a company so focused on user experience allow a peripheral like this to be the first-party means of navigating Mac OS X? How it passed through Johnny Ive, Steve Jobs and quality assurance... Read the full review →
If you have Tiger, Apple's Mighty Mouse is worth a look, but if you're a Windows user or have an older Mac operating system, better mousing options are available.
